As he works to document the life of Jake LaMotta, filmmaker Carl Shimkin finds himself becoming part of the story.
Synopsis
Carl, a young filmmaker, is enlisted to act in and document an unlikely and ill conceived cabaret show with former heavyweight boxing champion Jake LaMotta. Through their tour of cabarets in NYC the two get close and a father-son relationship develops.
